Our Stars & VIPs

A place to honor some of our best supporters and friends of the band! Some would have to be considered honorary members, like Johnni Kennicott "Big Wave" Wilkinson and David Stone.

Johnni fills in for us often, especially on out of town trips, such as Suds Brothers Brewery in Evanston. He was a full-time drummer with BONE way back when and again more recently. Not only is he an immensely talented, highly entertaining and insane performer, Johnni is great friend to all the members of BONE. We love the guy!

Big Wave Dave sits in with us as well, providing some excellent harmonies, as well as taking on some challenging lead vocals. Dave also plays a mean bass and is another guys we can always rely on. He has a great ear for music and sound and helps us out in that regard, as well. A versatile dude and another true friend.

It doesn't happen all that often, but it's always a special treat when Dave Stone joins BONE for some jamming! We can't talk about special friends, Stars and VIPs without including Dave. Yes, he was one of the original members of BONE, with Cookie and Preston, and I believe the founder of the band, (Pres & Cook can set me straight) which had a successful run of over 20 years, beginning in the early 80s! He's a talented keyboardist and vocalist and an inspirational pal on many levels, too!

We'll showcase some videos and more involving these guys and others, just as soon as possible, and we'll have a special BONE Hall-of-Fame section for two of our drummers who left this world too early, original BONE drummer, Monty Wade, and more recently, Jack Mathson. We, like so many others, miss you guys so much...
